Six files from the same night.
And a seventh nobody filed.

Six years, six places, one date. Every one of them opened on 31 October, and every one of them has a human explanation. Finding it is the hard part.

Two things that come
with the collection.

One more case, and one way to close the night. Both are in the download.

Sealed case file at the foot of a closed door Bonus 01 Do not open

The Last Door

The seventh file · Difficulty 5 of 5

A full case file, sealed for a reason. It was never entered into the register, and the officer who opened it asked to be reassigned the same week. Nothing in the first six will have prepared you for it. Not sold separately. It exists only inside this collection.

Three sealed envelopes on a dark table Bonus 02

The Morning After

Three sealed endings · Open one

Three envelopes, and which one you get to open depends on how close you came. It tells you what became of all six of them in the years after. The other two stay sealed. You will never read them.

Seven files, two extras, one download. No subscription, no expiry, no app.

Some of them closed the file.
Some of them turned the lights back on.

Every case here has a human explanation. That is not the same as a comfortable one.

Four people working through printed case documents by candlelight File closed

★★★★★

PLACEHOLDER — We were three hours in before anyone remembered the pizza. Nobody touched a phone all night.

Name · Case 004

Two people in costume comparing statements at a kitchen table File closed

★★★★★

PLACEHOLDER — Printed it, put it on the table with two candles. It did not feel like a game after twenty minutes.

Name · Case 001

Group in costume holding up a finished case file Solved

★★★★★

PLACEHOLDER — I kept waiting for the ghost. There isn't one. Which made it so much worse, in the best way.

Name · Case 002

Three friends in costume around a coffee table covered in printed evidence Solved

★★★★★

PLACEHOLDER — The solution showed me the clue I had read out loud and dismissed. Out loud. To everyone.

Name · Case 006

Five people in costume at the end of a long evening reading the solution Partial

★★★★★

PLACEHOLDER — We named the wrong person and got the mechanism right. The argument afterwards was the best part of the night.

Name · Case 007

Three generations opening the sealed solution envelope together File closed

★★★★★

PLACEHOLDER — The documents look like documents, not like a game. That is the whole difference.

Questions,
answered plainly.

Is anything in here actually supernatural?+

No. Not once. Every case has a human explanation, and every explanation is provable from the documents in the file. The atmosphere is the point. The answer is always someone's decision.

How frightening is it, really?+

These files are dark, not graphic. Nothing is described for shock, and there are no images of injury. What gets to people is the ordinary detail that turns out to matter — not the scene itself. Recommended 16+.

Are these real cases?+

No. Every case, person, document and location is entirely fictional. Some settings are real places, but nothing in these files describes a real event or a real person.

Can we get through all seven in one night?+

No, and you shouldn't try. One file is a whole evening — between 60 minutes and two hours. Pick one or two for the 31st and keep the rest. There is no expiry date.

Do I need the other collections?+

No. This collection stands completely on its own. If you already own one of the others you will recognise the format immediately, but there is no shared story and no required order.

Do I have to print it?+

No. Everything works on a screen. That said, most people print at least one case and spread it across the table, because moving paper around is half of how you spot a contradiction. A4 and US Letter are both included.

How many people can play?+

One to six. It works solo, as a couple, or around a table. Four is the sweet spot — enough people to disagree, few enough that everyone reads something.

What if we get it wrong?+

Most people get at least one of the three answers wrong on their first case, and that is the intended experience. The sealed solution then walks you through every clue, page by page, including every false lead and why it was false.

When do I get it?+

Immediately. The download link is emailed to you within a minute of your order. There is no expiry date — open the first file this October or the next.

Seven files, seven sealed solutions. Nothing supernatural, and that is the problem.
